I’m Ana, and I run the back office of the small family trucking company my husband and I built together. My husband is one of our five drivers and while he is on the road, I’m booking loads, talking with brokers, chasing unpaid invoices, tracking paperwork, paying drivers, and keeping us legally compliant.

Ana’s Logbook is where I write honestly about what it takes to keep a small fleet moving: loads that go sideways, detention time nobody wants to pay, the people we rely on, and the systems we put in place. I also share what it’s like to run a business with my spouse, raise four kids, and go back to school for marketing all at once.

Whether you’re an owner-operator, dispatcher, trucker’s spouse, or just curious about trucking, take a look around. I hope you find something useful, familiar, or worth thinking about.
